Anthony began his career as a creative inside of some of the world's best advertising agencies across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the United States. He was a Global Director at Amazon when the department grew from just over $1B to almost $20B, and Chief Creative and Strategy Officer at Wunderman Thompson, WPP, Publicis, and LMVH (CMO) before joining Movers+Shakers (the company that's set records and created world-renowned work on TikTok).
Anthony likes staying close to the work and teams because, "At the end of the day, my job is to help clients solve business problems." He approaches everything with an entrepreneur mindset, and through the lens of people, technology, and ideas. "I'm at my best when I can help organizations thrive by fusing creativity, scale, and organizational structure, with incredible technology. Being able to pull seemly disparate teams and companies together, win new business, and helping businesses grow is my strength."
Anthony often states that Amazon was the steepest-ever learning curve of his life. "I earned my MBA at Amazon. And what I learned there could fill a book." His three biggest takeaways were:
1. Start with the customer (end-state) and work backward
2. Speed is a strategy – build the organization for speed and scale, not the people
3. Data and insights drive every decision (customer and business) you make
