Ilene Richardson is Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Imaginary Content, a certified Woman Owned Small Business that specializes in expert content creation across various platforms – from global ecommerce to broadcast, commercial and video. Ilene is responsible for overseeing the team and leading the company's mission to deliver best-in-class content to Imaginary Content’s clients.
Ilene brings extensive experience as an award-winning multi-platform producer with credits in television, advertising and web content production. Working with A-list clients such as The Rolling Stones and Kraft Heinz, Ilene and her team generate high-level creative content for a variety of established brands and businesses. A Clio-award winner, she was an early adopter of web-based innovations in advertising, producing one of the first online viral campaigns. Her specialties include production leadership, business management, ecommerce content strategy and creation, and production company management.
Based in beautiful Weston, CT, Ilene is a single mom with a deep appreciation for work-life balance. She regularly volunteers her time to the community in a variety of capacities, including serving as Chair of Weston’s Zoning Board of Appeals, taking on active leadership roles on the Weston Marketing Committee and more. Ilene received a bachelor's degree in political science from Columbia University, as well as a Public Leadership Credential from the Harvard Kennedy School.
